Hierarchy of the Baptist church?
Bishop, local or nationwide or how does it go?
The Baptist church doesn’t have a clerical hierarchy. Local churches have ministers; there’s nothing like bishops or archbisops or cardinals. Most belong to either the Northern or Southern Baptist Association (the two split apart prior to the Civil War). Those generally set policy and a general sort of theological guideline; they also administer things like retirement funds, group insurance, and so on, for ministers and their families.
